Unique ideas for support

Matching Gifts

Many corporations will match employee donations to charitable organizations such as the Lake George Music Festival. These matching-gift programs are a wonderful way to increase your level of support.

Sustaining Support

Unable to make a large donation all at once? Not a problem! Patrons have the option to become ‘Sustaining Supporters.’ These donors will make their contribution in monthly or bi-monthly installments. The total yearly contribution will be reflected wherever recognition is announced.

Anonymous Support

While the Festival never shares its donors personal information, donors may still choose to remain anonymous. Anonymous contributors will not be listed in any festival publications or here on this website. The preferred method of anonymous giving is by money order or certified bank check payable to the Lake George Music Festival, Inc. If paying by personal check, donors should enclose a brief letter stating their wish to remain anonymous.

Tribute Support and Special Giving

Special gifts are a fantastic way to express your regard while also helping the Festival. Donations can be made in the name of a loved one, a friendship, a family, a birthday, wedding, or graduation. Acknowledgment of special gifts will be sent to the recipient, to you, and will be posted on this website and in all concerts programs as requested.

Legacy Giving

This category of support is for those who wish to generously remember the festival in their wills or other estate planning. Anyone wishing to offer a legacy contribution should notify the Festival of their bequest. A declaration of intent will need to be signed – which is a non-binding document that creates no legal obligation to you or your estate. There is no minimum commitment and legacy donors can remain anonymous if requested.

Concert Ticket Donations

Can’t make a planned donation? We absolutely understand – but we still want you to attend our free concerts! Those in attendance will be presented with the opportunity to support the musicians with an optional ‘ticket donation.’ Regardless of the amount, these donations play a major role in the funding and future success of the festival.
