Ticket policies and general information:
The 2017 Lake George Music Festival will feature an innovative line up of exciting new events, from chamber music to orchestral, and from formal to ‘off the pedestal.’ Held in historic Lake George settings and fresh new venues, events have general admission seating with casual attire, are family friendly, and handicapped-accessible.
Tickets can be purchased for each individual performance.
A “FESTIVAL PASS” includes guaranteed admission and preferred seating to all four exciting chamber concerts, ‘Piano Mania’ at Tannery Pond, ‘Sounds of Our Time’ at the new Festival Commons, and the final Symphony Orchestra performance. Pass holders also receive admission to the exclusive pass holder only performance at the Courthouse Art Gallery, pre-performance workshops, and open rehearsals.
An “ALL ACCESS SEASON PASS” includes all of the benefits of the ‘festival pass’ PLUS admission to the Dinner & Dance Benefit and Opening Ceremony, the Marriot Rooftop Terrace Performance, LGMF Uncorked, and the Late Night Concert aboard the Minne-Ha-Ha cruise ship. Only a limited number of all access passes will be sold and the deadline to order is August 7th, 2017.
New for 2017, FESTIVAL PASS pass holders can now purchase our new “TRANSFERABLE PASS” as an add-on and bring a new guest to each performance the festival pass grants entry to. This pass is valid only to those new to the Lake George Music Festival. The Transferable Pass will be in the name of the host Pass Member and the host Pass Member must be present each time the Transferable Pass is used for guest admission. The name of the selected host Pass Member may not be changed.
All pass holders and single ticket buyers receive a complimentary program guide
-Doors open 30 min prior to show time.
-passes will be available for pick up at the first event you attend.
-all sales are final, no refunds or exchanges
-latecommers, and those who exit the performance will be seated at the discretion of the house manager
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No identification required. Discounts of up to 50% are typically available for students with ID. Please bring children 5 and under to our free children’s concert on August 19th or to an open rehearsal >>
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Free parking is available for patrons on the St. James lawn for St. James events and in the Sacred Heart lot for Sacred Heart concerts. Free parking is also available at the Lake George High School’s bus garage for the final symphony orchestra performance. Lake George Village offers an affordable and convenient Trolley for local transportation. A variety of paid and free street parking is also available throughout Lake George Village.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. Proof of purchase on a smartphone or tablet is also acceptable.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?
Single tickets are fully transferable. Season passes are not transferable. Festival Pass holders can purchase the “Transferable Pass” add-on for guests.
Are venues air-conditiond and handicapped accesible?
All indoor venues with the exception of St. James Church are air conditioned. All venues are handicapped accesible.
