VICTORIAN TEA

3:00PM in the White Lion Room
Fort William Henry Hotel, 48 Canada Street, Lake George, NY

Take a step back into Lake George’s Gilded Age for an afternoon of sophistication, stimulating conversation, and the timeless ritual of tea at our annual Victorian Tea.

The afternoon will feature a special performance by the "Hats and Heels" Duo with clarinetist Louis Arques. Guests will indulge in exquisitely presented Victorian-inspired tables, along with tea or coffee and a delightful selection of tea sandwiches, scones, croissants, fruits, and other light fare.

All attendees will also receive one “buy one, get one” voucher redeemable for any festival chamber concert.

Victorian Tea is hosted by the LGMF Guild in support of our student musicians. Proceeds directly fund scholarships for young artists in need.

Order tickets online at the link below or by calling 518.791.5089

WAYS TO HELP

While there are NO membership dues, Guild members can support our roster of musicians the following ways:

  • Attend the Guild sponsored Victorian Tea fundraiser to raise scholarship support for our young student musicians

  • Become a "host family" and provide a supportive “home away from home” during the festival.

  • Providing a pot-luck meal to share with and serve our musicians (we feed them lunch daily in season!)

  • Selling refreshments and merchandise at performances

  • Hosting an “in-home concert” at your residence for your friends

  • Increase awareness of, and generate community support for the Festival by inviting friends, neighbors, and family to our concerts.

  • Personalize and enrich the festival experience of our artists by offering boat rides, hikes, dinners out, and other fun activities.

  • Offer unofficial "taxi" rides to get our musicians to and from the train station or airport to Lake George.

  • Help as a production assistant on load-in and load-out days (helping staff move boxes or other equipment).
