DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Concert Production Intern will assist with the responsibility of day-to-day operations and coordination of festival musicians, production equipment, and venues. The intern will work side-by-side with the Production Manager who will lead the logistics pertaining to the formal concert stage. The intern will be required to be in residence during the festival where housing and some meals will be provided. Having a reliable vehicle, computer, and cell phone while in residence is required.
For applicants who pass an initial screening, a telephone interview will be scheduled.
Applications are accepted year-round.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with logistical and production projects pertaining to venues, instruments, and production equipment

Assist the staging requirements for all LGMF rehearsals and live performances
FELLOWSHIP
Interns are awarded a full scholarship plus housing with a host family or local hotel. Lunch is provided daily.
BENEFITS
The Festival will be happy to provide recommendations and references for employment, advanced training and/or scholarships following successful completion of the Internship. College credit is also available for those needing to complete an internship as part of their degree requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in classical music production is helpful, but not required. A love of classical music and an entrepreneurial attitude are advantages, as are self-motivation and the ability to work independently on very productive days. Interns are required to have a reliable vehicle while in Lake George. Concert Production interns must be able to lift, at times 50-75 pounds.
