The program features Louise Farrenc’s Sextet in C Minor, Op. 40 for winds and piano—a masterful blend of elegance, drama, and vibrant interplay—alongside Mikhail Glinka’s “Gran Sextet” for strings, a rich, sweeping work that highlights the warmth and depth of the ensemble. Adding extra meaning to the night, 50% of all proceeds will benefit the Festival’s Second Annual Music Scholarship, awarded to a talented local student in partnership with the Rotary Clubs of Lake George and Chestertown.
